THE STAFF
Lisa Craft is the egg donor coordinator for Creative Conception, Inc. She graduated from University of California, Riverside, with a B.A. in human development, and has been a part of Creative Conception, Inc. since 1998. Over the years, Lisa has gained much knowledge working with recipient couples and egg donors. She works closely with both the couple and donor once they are matched. Her role as the egg donor coordinator is not only to facilitate a smooth process, but also to support both parties as they go through the egg donation process. Having been a donor herself, Lisa has first hand knowledge about the commitment and dedication it takes to be an egg donor. She ensures that all donors who participate in the program understand the commitment they are making to a recipient couple and to the complex medical process. She has also gone through the IVF process to have her son (Brandon, August 2005) and is well aware of what recipients go through when trying to have a baby.
“I enjoy what I do, and want to help couples achieve their dream of having a child. There are so many people who are ready to have a baby and who would make wonderful parents, but are unable to due to infertility problems. As an egg donor, I wanted to make a difference in a couple’s lives by helping them with this dream. As an IVF patient, I understand the emotional frustrations that a couple faces when going through this process.”
