Below are listed the most frequently asked questions by women who are interested in participating in our program as a Surrogate.
What is the difference between Gestational Surrogacy and Traditional Surrogacy?
Gestational surrogacy is when a fertilized embryo is implanted into a gestational carrier to carry the resulting child/children to term but who has no genetic relationship to it/them. Gestational surrogates do not use their own eggs. Traditional surrogacy is when the gestational carrier is genetically related to the embryo, which is implanted through artificial insemination, and relinquishes custody of the resulting child/children upon birth.
Do you use my eggs for the pregnancy?
CCI does not do traditional surrogacy so you do not use your own eggs.
